You don’t have to keep holding it all together. If you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck in your thoughts, or weighed down by things you can’t explain — you're not alone. Life gets heavy sometimes, and it’s okay to need support. Whatever you're carrying, you deserve a space where you can slow down, feel safe, and start to heal. Together, we’ll slow things down and figure out what’s really going on, not just the symptoms, but the stories underneath them.

My approach is trauma-informed, flexible, and rooted in what works for you. I use tools like ART, EMDR, CBT, and ACT to help you feel more grounded, clear, and connected. Therapy with me isn’t one-size-fits-all — we’ll find what fits you best and move at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

Starting therapy can feel intimidating — especially if you’ve been carrying things alone for a long time. You don’t have to have it all figured out before reaching out. I’m here to listen, support you, and help you feel a little more like yourself again. When you're ready, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

Taking this first step in finding a therapist can be difficult and overwhelming, I see you and am glad you are here and taking those first steps. My therapeutic approach is client-centered and empowerment focused. My goal is to provide a safe environment where you can navigate what feels most right to you. I want to provide a validating, empathetic, and comfortable space for you or your child to find healing and growth. I earned my Bachelor's Degree of Psychology from Grand Valley State University and my Master's of Social Work from Western Michigan University.

My experience is working with children, adolescents, teens, and adults who have experienced complex trauma. I have been basic trained in EMDR therapy, TF-CBT, play therapy and utilize components of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Dialectic Behavioral Therapy in my practice. I am excited about the opportunity to walk alongside your therapeutic journey with you.

Life can feel overwhelming, stressful and unmanageable sometimes. I am passionate about sitting with people in the midst of chaos to help them see that their experiences matter, they have strengths, and there is still hope. I want to help people develop skills while providing support and encouragement to make life more manageable and even joyful.

In my practice I most commonly utilize aspects of person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and narrative therapy. Every clients' needs, desires, and comforts are different so I want to make sure that the approach is tailored to the individual. We will adjust the approach during sessions as needed.

When working with children and adolescents I utilize aspects of play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and trauma focused-cognitive behavioral therapy. It is a privilege to walk with people through the good days and the really hard ones and I hope that I can provide you some encouragement and support as we work towards growth and healing.
